The Nike Free Flyknit was one of those models that floated around in European and Asian shops long before getting a proper U.S. release.
The sneaker recently released via Nikestore though, and it looks like the first pairs to hit domestically are this "Hot Lava" and the coveted "Multicolor." It appears that the latter sold out super fast, but there are still stores around the country stocking the pair for anyone that's willing to do a stock locate on the style number through Nike. The "Hot Lava" is still up for grabs.
The sneaker is sort of a letdown in terms of its name, the very straightforward "Nike Free Flyknit," which is easily confused with a host of other Swoosh silos that use both Free and Flyknit.
