A Nike Collaboration Nobody Saw Coming

For Air Force 1 heads.

Yes, it's 2016 and Nike's releasing a new collaboration with Haze on the Air Force 1.

There's nothing wrong with that—Haze is a legend and so is the Air Force 1—but this just isn't the sort of sneaker one expects to see in an era when Nike's moved away from collaborations with graffiti artists and not placed a huge focus on the AF1.

This isn't the first time Nike's surprised people with a team-up like this. Last year, NikeLab released a black pair of Haze x Air Force 1s that were actually designed a while back.

The collaboration is less official this time, coming in the form of custom laser-printed sneakers. Also releasing is a Nike t-shirt that reads "Brooklyn" in Haze's inimitable handstyle.

These items are available now through Sunday at Foot Locker's House of Hoops location on Fulton St. in Brooklyn.
