The Fake Yeezy Balenciaga Triple S Is as Awful as It Sounds
This fake Balenciaga Triple S slaps random 'Kanye Yeezy' branding on the shoe.

Few sneakers have spawned as many fakes as those from Kanye West's Yeezy line. It makes sense: The shoes have historically been pretty limited, a fact that bootleggers can take advantage of by cranking out fraudulent pairs.
Some try to look like the real deal, some combine the Yeezy name with other influences. The shoe below, shared on Instagram by the New York Times' Jon Caramanica, falls in the latter category. The model is a hideous imitation of the already highly questionable Balenciaga Triple S with "Kanye Yeezy" embroidery slapped on the side.
The imitation even applies to the packaging, which looks something like the plain brown cardboard boxes West's Adidas Yeezy Boost sneakers come in.
Caramanica wrote on Instagram that the shoes didn't reach him until two months after he purchased them online.
