The Air Jordan 3 is back in sneaker headlines thanks to Jordan Brand's retroing the shoe in 2016 after putting it on hiatus for a few years. With the model resurfacing, longtime Nike designer Mark Smith took to Instagram to remind his followers of one of the more out-there versions of the shoe.
Smith posted the above Air Jordan 3 Low, a lasered design that swaps the traditional Jordan 3 tooling for the Dunk's. Smith was prompted to put his photo up after collector @ballintwn recently released an on-feet video of the shoes.
Smith's Nike output has largely been characterized by these sort of lasered designs, which include Air Force 1s, Dunks, and all sorts of Jordan exclusives for celebrities.
