The Jordan release date for next year's "Flu Game" Air Jordan 12 is May 28, 2016.
While the release is a long way off, there has already been one preview of what's come for the shoe this year via this set of toddler sizes. Note that no images exist yet of the men's version of the 2016 "Flu Game" Jordan 12s (the above image is of an original pair).
Unlike the 2009 retro that featured nubuck, the 2016 retro will stay true to the original with a leather makeup. The shoe will also be without the sick smiley face that adorned the tongue and heel of the 2009 pair.
