Also known as the "Tim Duncan Foamposites," Nike's Total Air Foamposite Max is scheduled to make a return to retail this holiday season. Originally released in 1998, the revolutionary sneaker pairs a Foamposite-based upper with full-length Max Air cushioning. Two original colorways are slated to drop later this year, including a pair in Metallic Silver/Black and the "Blackout" make-up pictured below.

The "Blackout" Total Air Foamposite Max features a black-based Foamposite upper with nubuck along the eyestay and ballistic mesh at the heel. Anthracite appears at various branding points throughout, including the ankle, tongue and heel. Finishing off the look below is a full-length Max Air bag and black rubber outsole.

Take a detailed look at the Holiday 2011 "Blackout" Total Air Foamposite Max below and stick with Sole Collector for information on a solid release date. Retail will be $225.
