Nike Kyrie 4 Designer Receives Gold Pair for His Birthday
Ben Nethongkome was gifted a special Kyrie 4 by his Nike colleagues.
Ben Nethongkome, the man behind the design of the Nike Kyrie 4, was gifted a special pair by his colleagues in celebration of his birthday last night.
Nethongkome's biggest creation to date is seen here in a true "Triple Gold" colorway, with no contrasting color detailing. This pair is believes to be a 1-of-1, which means going the custom route is likely the only way any of us will own a similar make-up.
A Nike intern since 2007, Nethongkome, moved from Thailand to Miami at age 10 and first explored footwear design at Miami's Design and Architecture Senior High. You can read more about his journey to lead designer at nike.com.
