Last year, we saw the Air Max 24-7 have a successful run in a wide range of colorways. It's no surprise that the general consumer base took a liking to the 24-7, but the hybrid shoe being accepted within the sneaker community was a little unexpected due to the 'no hybrid anything' approach that sneakerheads generally take. Familiar colorways like "Volt" and "Eggplant" helped the shoe's cause, and another inspired look is starting to hit retailers this month.
Reminiscent of the "Penny" Foamposite One, which will see a release of its own this weekend, this 24-7 sports a metallic spark blue leather upper similar to the foam shell of the aforementioned hoop shoe. Black mesh fills in the rest of the shoe, while textile material of the same color works the branding panels on the side and inner lining. Offering a comfortable ride below is a 360-Air unit.
The Blue Spark Air Max 24-7 is currently available at retailers like Vault in Harlem.
