The best rookie and sophomore take the court in an international showcase for the 2019 NBA All-Star Rising Stars Challenge from Charlotte, North Carolina.

The future of the NBA was on full display Friday night, when rookies and sophomores the United States and the rest of the world competed in the 2019 NBA All-Star Rising Stars Challenge.

Not one for defensive-starved fans, the game provided endless highlights at the rim, including a collection of highlight reel-worthy dunks by game MVP Kyle Kuzma. The Los Angeles Lakers forward scored a game-high 35 points to lead Team USA to a 161-144 victory. Boston's Jayson Tatum added 30 points, while Hawks rookie guard Trae Young dropped 25. Ben Simmons lead Team World with 28 points.
