The future of the NBA was on full display Friday night, when rookies and sophomores the United States and the rest of the world competed in the 2019 NBA All-Star Rising Stars Challenge.
Not one for defensive-starved fans, the game provided endless highlights at the rim, including a collection of highlight reel-worthy dunks by game MVP Kyle Kuzma. The Los Angeles Lakers forward scored a game-high 35 points to lead Team USA to a 161-144 victory. Boston's Jayson Tatum added 30 points, while Hawks rookie guard Trae Young dropped 25. Ben Simmons lead Team World with 28 points.
