You may have seen her on television shows like Community or HBO’s Girls. Perhaps you’ve heard about her role in the upcoming film Hot Tub Time Machine 2. Or you may just catch her at your local sneaker spot grabbing the latest release. Actress Gillian Jacobs is a sneakerhead, and she told Marie Claire all about her habit in a recent interview.
Jacobs, whose family is from Chicago, grew up a fan of Michael Jordan and the Bulls. She says she has about 7 or 8 pairs of Air Jordans, including the classic ‘Black Cement’ 3.
“They definitely get worn. I got a little nervous when I realized my Black Cement 3s were getting beat up. But life's too short to not wear them.”
She also owns Air Maxes, Agassis and Dunks. And just like every sneakerhead, Jacobs would like to get her feet into a pair of Nike Air Yeezys. So if you’re the plug, it’s time to make a few phone calls.
