Another top hip hop artist is stealing headlines with a Jordan Brand collaboration.
This time it's a familiar partner in Eminem, whose name first graced an Air Jordan a decade ago. A few years later, a special "Shady" make-up of the Air Jordan 2 was released in celebration of Em's The Way I Am book and DVD launch.
Now it's back to the original silhouette, as another Eminem x Air Jordan 4 just popped up. The iconic sneaker, possibly created as a tribute to the 15th Anniversary of the Marshall Mathers LP, is styled in black twill with chrome accents, waxed laces, leather interior and a translucent outsole. There's also an impression of Eminem's Jason Vorhees mask on one of the heel tabs, while his reverse "E" logo adorns the other.
According to Twitter user PO2345, the shoe is actually a collaboration with Michigan-based Carhartt, which specializes in blue collar and outdoor clothing. It's expected to be a friends and family exclusive.
