Cincinnati-based sneaker shop Corporate is the latest partner to link up with Jordan Brand for a collaborative take on the resurrected Air Ship. Owner Matt Tomamichel unveiled the project on-foot during an event held on Saturday.
The Corporate x Jordan Air Ship is delivered with a teal suede upper and contrasting hits of white throughout. Additional details include 'Corporate' branding along the lateral heel and the shop's 'Got 'Em' slogan on the heel. Tomamichel confirmed the upcoming collaboration in an Instagram post of his own.
Word coming out of the event is that the Corporate x Jordan Air Ship will release on September 8. Stand by for additional looks at the collab and confirmed release information in the coming months.
UPDATE (08/16): On its 15th Anniversary, Corporate will release its Jordan Air Ship collaboration. The shoe's distinct teal colorway and premium material execution represent "greatness, excellence, renewal, and royalty." Each pair comes with a story card in the box that tells Corporate owner Matt Tomamichel's story of perseverance and commitment to his community.
“If you would have told the teenaged Matt working at Footlocker that he would one day have his own successful sneaker business and create a sneaker with his favorite brand, Jordan, he’d call you crazy,” said Tomamichel in a press release.
The Corporate x Jordan Air Ship will release at the boutique's Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Dayton locations at 10 AM on September 8, with a follow-up launch at select Nike NBHD retailers on September 15. Sizes range from 3.5 to 18 and the retail tag is $150. A full list of stores will be listed at corporategotem.com.
