The Cleveland Cavaliers were up by five points and appeared to be heading toward a victory in their Friday night matchup against the Boston Celtics. But Brad Stevens' kids had other plans for the finish.
It started with a Jae Crowder three-pointer, which brought the Cs within two points. A pair of Kyrie Irving free throw on the other end bumped the lead back up to four, but Evan Turner scored a layup and drew a foul for Boston. Turner missed the free throw, but the ball went out of bounds off the Cavs, setting the stage for a dramatic finish.
The original play was drawn up for Isaiah Thomas, but he was well guarded and passed the ball to Avery Bradley near the corner. Getting a little separation from J.R. Smith, Bradley lifted and hoisted what turned out to be an improbable game-winning three-pointer as the buzzer sounded. He finished with 14 points in the Celtics' huge 104-103 road victory.
Bradley knocked down his big shot in the "Chicago Ice" colorway of the adidas D Rose 5. If he keeps making shots like this, there's no reason to update to this season's model.
