Jordan Brand continues to tap into its archive to bring back "Alternate" samples that never released, including this familiar looking Air Jordan 8.
A shoe that was apparently didn't make the cut when the classic "Bugs" Air Jordan 8 made its way to production in 1993, this version features several key differences. Grey has been removed from the upper, the cross-straps feature micro-perf detailing and the strap buckles have been given a metallic finish. The chenille tongue matches and iconic midsole print are different on this pair, and a little more red than usual appears on the outsole. Unlike the original, tribal graphics line the interior, while '1993' embroidery on the pull-tabs is consistent with previous alternate releases.
The "Alternate" Jordan 8 is currently set to release on Saturday, Feb. 25 for $190.
