If you're going to make a pack of sneakers representing the top basketball cities in the world, it's a must that you honor the current city of champions - Los Angeles. The people over at adidas did just that when they came up with this Lakers-themed version of the Pro Model 2010. The shoe is draped in the familiar purple and gold color scheme, with images of the Los Angeles skyline on the side panels. Branding throughout is done in a shimmery metallic gold, including the Lakers logo behind the tongue and "City of Angels" notation on the heel. Black takes care of things on the midsole, which is finished off with a gold-podded purple outsole. Look for these to turn up at adidas retailers shortly.
