Not only will adidas officially launch the lightest basketball shoe in history next Friday, but they'll be reintroducing the iconic Forum Mid with the same technology as well. Known as the Forum Mid Crazy Light, the classic 80s silhouette gets a lightweight overhaul. The shoe features a SPRINTWEB build, single-layer welded mesh upper and an EVA midsole for long-term lightweight cushioning.
This pair, which is currently available to pre-order over at Shopadidas, sports a black upper with the "splatter" detailing seen on Derrick Rose's colorway of the adiZero Crazy Light. White handles jagged 3-Stripes branding on the side panels, heritage logos on the lateral heel and tongue and white rubber pivot point outsole. Giving the shoe a splash of color is an indigo mesh underlayer and blue midsole.
