In case you haven't heard, Gilbert Arenas got himself into a little trouble. In the aftermath of the incident that got him into that trouble, adidas decided to part ways with the former All-Star in January. Of course, his signature shoes were big movers for the brand, so adidas has decided to repackage the shoe again for their adidas Elemental Formotion series.
Contrary to popular belief, this concept was not introduced after Arenas was dropped from the brand. The adidas Elemental Formotion 3 is a follow-up to 2008's adidas Elemental 4Motion 2 TD. The "GIL ZERO" logo on the lateral sides and "FORMOTION" on the tongue have both been swapped for adidas logos. Another noticeable change is the conversion of the midfoot support strap into a full velcro hook-and-loop strap that is pulled over the laces. Other elements, such as the midsole, outsole, and textile lining remain true to the original design.
The adidas Elemental Formotion 3 has already started to turn up in multiple colorways at retailers such as Zappos.
