When it comes to showcasing a sneaker collection online, few have done it better than Kenny G, who you may know better as The Perfect Pair.
Kenny has a seemingly endless stash of sneakers, ranging from general releases to unreleased samples. And as often as possible, he's lacing up his heat for an on-foot look at some of the rarest sneakers in existence. As a result, he's been heavily featured on sneaker sites, a special guest at various events, and has amassed 308,000 followers on Instagram.
If that's not enough, below are 10 reasons that you should be following @the_perfect_pair (although you probably might be already).
10. Show Me Your iD
It's always fun to see what others have created using platforms like NIKEiD and miadidas. The Perfect Pair appears to favor Yeezy-inspired designs, as seen in the collage of shots above.
9. Plenty of Nike Air
With all due respect to the Jumpman logo, sneakerheads want proper branding on their Air Jordans. You can find all of the classics here with the Swoosh we remember from the '80s and '90s.
8. Akron's Finest
Not only general release Nike LeBrons, but the rarest pairs. From 'Watch the Throne' 9s to 'Heroes Pack' 7s, there's enough heat here to rate The Perfect Pair as one of the top LeBron collectors.
7. He Wears Sneakers to All the Big Events
The rumored Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather fight in May could serve as the craziest backdrop for an epic sneaker photo.
6. Where Are You, Yeezy?
There may be no sneaker more anticipated than Kanye West's first drop with adidas. When the shoe releases, Kenny's page will likely be one of the first places it pops up.
5. Love the XI
Not much needs to be said here. People love the Air Jordan 11 and he has almost all of them.
4. Supporting the Independents
With large retail chains making moves to phase out independents, it's important that you support your favorite local shops. As you see here, The Perfect Pair does exactly that by having a stash of collabs from your favorite boutiques.
3. For the Kids
Nike's Doernbecher Freestyle Collection has been a staple in sneaker collecting for the past 11 years. The project benefits the children of Oregon's Doernbecher Hospital and provides them with a unique experience. The kids' designs are beautifully showcased by The Perfect Pair.
2. Slim Shady
Eminem Air Jordans 2 and 4 are two of the most collectible and exclusive Air Jordans in the line. In fact, there's a pair of 4s currently listed on Flight Club for $37,500. Kenny could probably cash in, but he's too busy wearing his out.
1. Autographs
Michael Jordan, Tinker Hatfield, Tiger Woods and Shaquille O'Neal. That's about as elite a group of sneaker and sports personalities as one can round up, and he has autographed sneakers from them all.
