GOAT Try On

Thanks to today's apps and sophisticated marketplaces, getting your hands on rare sneakers is easier than ever. But there are certain shoes that even those with unlimited budgets can have a hard time tracking down. Whether they're friends and family exclusive Air Jordans or vintage Dunks that never released to the public, the closest many of us get to certain sneakers is seeing them on the internet. That's about to change with GOAT's latest augmented reality feature.

Available today on the GOAT app, the Try-On feature allows users to go up close and personal with some of the most coveted shoes of all time. The technology is powered by Wannaby, a partner for the launch. Beyond examining the finer points of rare pairs, users can also virtually try the sneakers on, allowing them to see what an elusive pair like the "Deftones" or "Wu-Tang" Dunks might look on their own feet.

Other pairs featured on GOAT Try-On include "FLOM" and "Iron Maiden" Dunks and Air Force 1s tied to visual artists Stash and Futura, JAY-Z's The Black Album, and rock band Head Automatica. For Jordan heads, there are notable pairs like the unreleased Fragment Design x Air Jordan 3, Travis Scott's purple friends and family Air Jordan 4s, and the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4. Rounding out the selection is the "Glow in the Dark Tour" Air Yeezy 1 sample.

"Product innovation has always been an integral part of our business and after early success with our previous AR launches, we knew Try-On was something we had to offer our community," said Daishin Sugano, GOAT Group co-founder and CPO. “We’re committed to sneaker culture and hope our new feature will elevate the experience of discovery for our community.”

The GOAT Try-On feature is available now via the latest app updates on App Store and Google Play. For a look at more sneaker apps worth downloading, see The Best Sneaker Apps for Buying Shoes Right Now.
