Kerby Jean-Raymond's brand Pyer Moss is one of the biggest up-and-coming names in fashion. On the heels of a 2019 CFDA Awards nomination for Menswear Designer of the Year, Raymond has revealed the follow-up collection to its popular work with Reebok. Along with brand new apparel, the line will offer a refreshed take on the Mobius basketball silhouette from the '90s.
The Mobius Experiment 3 features a black suede shroud with white leather overlays creating the silhouette's signature wavy upper. This topmost layer encapsulates a sock-like neoprene bootie. A co-branded asymmetrical zipper and exaggerated ankle collar give the model a more high end feel than the original it is inspired by. Classic Reebok branding on the heel, a colorful tag hanging from a gold zipper pull, and "Reebok by Pyer Moss" text written in yellow on the lateral ankle collar complete the design.
Look for the Reebok by Pyer Moss Mobius Experiment 3 to hit pyermoss.com, reebok.com, and other select retailers on April 12. Pricing has yet to be announced.
