The Social Status x Air Jordan 6 is certainly one of the more unique pairs releasing for 2019 NBA All-Star weekend in Charlotte. For anyone trying to score the pair that cannot make it down to Charlotte, the limited collab will also be hitting Nike SNKRS later this month.
This colorway takes a premium approach never before seen on MJ's sixth signature model. Its black cow hide upper is accented by reptile print side panels. The Charlotte-based boutique opted to used the popular Air Jordan hue, Dark Concord, to highlight the pair's Jumpman on each tongue, heel pull tab, and midsole. The look is completed with tonal "Nike Air" branding on the heel—an detail usually only reserved for re-releases of OG colorways.
Social Status Charlotte will exclusively stock the Air Jordan 6 collab on Feb. 13 during All-Star weekend festivities. A limited run will also be dropping via Nike SNKRS on Feb. 21. Retail is set at $250.
