Orlando Magic rookie center Mo Bamba has officially signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Under Armour. The news comes a few days after Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid inked his deal with the Maryland-based sportswear company.

Bamba and his 7' 10" wingspan were selected sixth overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Magic after playing one season at the University of Texas. Over the summer, the center also gained more viral fame for being the namesake of fellow Harlem native Sheck Wes' summer anthem "Mo Bamba."

"I'm now in a position to blaze my own trail," Bamba said in a press release.

Like Embiid's deal, Bamba's will also aim to assist the rookie in initiatives to give back to his local community in Harlem. "Under Armour appreciates how culturally important basketball is in Harlem. They feel that Harlem pride and responsibility that I carry, and are ready to support my long-term vision of giving back to the community that raised me," he said.

In his NBA debut this past Wednesday against the Miami Heat, Bamba put up an impressive 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks during his 25 minutes on the floor. Going forward, expect him to lace up the HOVR Havoc Low.
