Before the Adidas Ultra Boost became the household name it is today, the brand celebrated its 2015 rollout with a series of special collaborations dubbed the Ultra Boost Collective.

Made up of collabs with the likes of Kris Van Assche, Stella McCartney, Kolor, and even Adidas' own Dirk Schönberger and James Carnes, the range went under-the-radar at the time, but has become quite coveted over the years. For 2018, Adidas is refreshing the concept with new partners.

This time around, Adidas will collaborate with clothing brands A Kind of Guise, Études, and Engineered Garments, as well as NYC retailer Kinfolk. A short clip shared by Engineered Garments stockist Nepenthes shows hints of a navy and red sneaker with white star embroidery, although it's not yet clear if the collab will include just this one colorway or if there are still more to come.

Look for the Adidas Ultra Boost Collective collab to hit Consortium retailers soon.
