When it comes to hotel stays, odds are you’re looking for a five-star establishment. Recently, Converse decided to flip the concept of a “five-star experience” completely on its head with a three-day pop-up event called the Converse One Star Hotel, which you can see highlights from in the video above.

Before you go wondering if Converse invited peeps to some run-down, roach-infested dump, let us clarify. The One Star Hotel celebrated London’s street style community in an unquestionably five-star environment, and with a truly unique One Star twist—named, of course, after Converse’s iconic flagship sneaker collection.

The experience featured a number of different “One Star” rooms, curated by members of the London and global streetwear communities—including A$AP Nast, MadeMe, The Basement, and more. Guests were able to explore five floors of rooms, and take part in various workshops and debates. One Star merchandise was available for purchase, and attendees had access to exclusive sneaker drops. The weekend also featured several live musical performances from Princess Nokia, Yung Lean, and more.

The pop-up, which ran from February 14 through 17, welcomed all personalities and encouraged folks to unplug. The London streetwear community turned out in full force and One Star truly became the new Five Star.
