The Air Jordan 32 will again reference Jordans of old, this time with a "Black Cement" colorway tied to the Air Jordan 3. Not only does the shoe reinterpret that classic colorway, but it also has a subtle elephant print pattern around the heel.
The inside of the tongue on this upcoming pair of Jordan 32s reads "MVP," presumably a nod to Michael Jordan's first MVP award in 1988—the same year he originally wore the Air Jordan 3.
The Jordan 32 is most indebted to the Air Jordan 2, but has also been linked to sneakers like the Air Jordan 1.
Update 01/02: A release date for the "MVP" Air Jordan 32 has been spotted on Footaction's release date calendar for Saturday, Jan. 13.
Update 01/03: Nike has confirmed Saturday, Jan. 6 as the release date for the "MVP" Air Jordan 32.
