adidas’ ongoing connection with music’s most creative and stylish innovators remains strong, and one artist that has always had strong links to them is Pharrell. After many successful collaborations in the past they're teaming up once again for a Pharrell NMD collaboration, which looks like it has been inspired by the ‘equality for all’ movement.
A series of photos of the sneakers have surfaced recently, the most notable one is of 'Skateboard P' wearing (what is likely) a sample/prototype pair. Close up pictures of the sneakers show the phrase ‘Human Race’ on the top in a black typeface standing out from the yellow upper. A black cage design runs along the sides of the upper and the white Boost midsole. This is finished off with a multi-coloured trefoil logo, a further indication of Pharrell’s support (and involvement) for the equal rights movement.
An official release date has yet to be announced but expect the Pharrell x adidas Originals NMD to drop in the near future. In the meantime scroll down to our gallery below to whet your appetite.
