Over the weekend, we dropped a first look at the 2016 "Flu Game" Jordan XIIs, and now we're taking a closer look at the details.

It doesn't make much of a difference whether you call them "Black/Red" or "Flu Game," because what really matters is these are one of the best looking retros so far this year. The last time we saw this colorway in 2009, it got the nubuck treatment, something that disappointed many Air Jordan purists. Before that, you'd have to go all the way back to 2003 for a proper retro of the 1997 classic, but Jordan Brand's heard your wishes, and this year the XIIs will be dropping in Remastered leather form.

Even better is the fact that it looks like these "Flu Game" XIIs will come packaged in the O.G.-style box just like "The Master" colorway. Between the rich leather uppers and the old school packaging, this could go down as one of the most accurate retros we've seen in years.

Take another look below and expect these to hit on May 28 for $190.
