A young shooting victim is in good spirits today after a surprise visit from Master P.
Earlier this month, nine-year-old Ki'Anthony Tyus was playing basketball at a park in Louisville, Ky., when a shooter opened fire on the crowd. Tyus was hit in his leg and spent much of the month in the hospital, but he was finally cleared to go home last week. Now in recovery, doctor's orders have confined him to bed, but he'll have something to look forward to as soon as he's feeling better.
WLKY reports that rapper Master P recently visited Tyus during a stop in Lousville to promote nonviolence. P, who knows a thing or two about basketball himself, dropped off a pair of Air Jordan V Retro "Pro Stars" for the young baller and promised to return and meet Tyus on the courts as soon as he's feeling better.
Master P's got the hook-up, holler if you hear him.
