The Air Jordan 1 is getting a high-end makeover for Jordan Brand's 30th anniversary this year.
Initially teased last week, the trio of high-top 1s are seen here in closer detail as a batch of luxurious retros. Each iteration is equipped with a unique make-up that transitions the traditional hoops silhouette into a high fashion staple.
There's a light grey pair decked out in what appears to be a safari print, a black iteration covered in snakeskin, which we already saw just yesterday, and a beige pair in a smooth full-grain leather. The entire "Pinnacle" pack is highlighted by gold embellishments on the tongue, heel, and ankle of the 1s.
Rumors have the pack releasing next month during the NBA All-Star Weekend in NYC, which is also the same time as New York Fashion Week, which MIGHT just explain the high-end aesthetic of the collection.
