The latest installment of Nike's "What The" series is just around the corner, as the Kobe 9 Elite is the newest silhouette to get the heralded treatment. While the Kobe 9 Elite is a performance monster on the court, it's high-top look and boxer style design makes it a difficult shoe to pull off in a casual situation. Well now you can get a preview of what they'll look like with the first on-foot images of the upcoming shoe.

Releasing January 10, expect the "What The" Kobe 9 Elite to sell out just like every other shoe in the colorways history. However this version of the "What The" is way more toned down then say the LeBron 11, or others that have come out recently. As usual, Nike hit this colorway with a slight price increase, with a suggested retail price of $275 instead of the standard Kobe 9 Elite price of $250. Check out the on-foot images below, and hopefully it'll help you decide if your going to cop a pair.
