Not only is Jordan Brand remastering retro sneakers for 2015, but it will also be celebrating its 30th anniversary in a major way.
In addition to the laser-engraved "30th Anniversary" 1s, there might also be a snakeskin iteration of MJ's first signature sneaker on the way. Leaked images of a scaly pair of 1s just hit the 'net and the rumor is that the sneaker will be a special release for NBA All-Star Weekend, according to Sole Collector.
Part of the festivities will take place in Brooklyn, which is Michael Jordan's birthplace, making the 30th anniversary theme for the Jumpman all the more significant.
A full look at the sneaker is not yet available, but the leaked images reveal an upper completely decked out in brown snakeskin with gold embellishments. With All-Star Weekend just two months away, expect additional details soon.
