For the fall/winter season, ASICS has a murdered-out pair of Gel-Lyte IIIs that joins the "Triple Black" club. The split-tongue runner, which has remained relatively lowkey with the retro rise of the Gel Lyte V, is done up in a super smooth leather that makes up a majority of the upper. Neoprene works its way exclusively on the Gel Lyte III's unique tongue design, while tonal netting is subtly used at the quarter panel and heel. Rounding out the sneaker is ASICS branding towards the heel that isn't quite tonal in appearance, breaking the monochromatic vibe of the overall sneaker. Nevertheless, we'll still call it a "Triple Black" runner.
A pre-order is now available at international retailer Titolo for €140.10, or about $175. An expected delivery is set for December.
