Bodega is doing something special for its upcoming ASICS Gel Lyte V collaboration, and it involves a chance at a FREE pair of the sneakers. Instead of the usual Instagram giveaway, Bodega is taking the theme of the sneaker very literally and incorporating it into the contest.
The "Geocached" Gel Lyte V runners can be yours by participating in an outdoor hunt that relies on GPS coordinates to find the prize. The activity, known as geocaching, will take place in six different cities worldwide, and the prize put up by Bodega is just insane. There's going to be a branded "wet box" filled with a champagne bottle, collaboration jacket, mixtape, $100 in singles, and, obviously, the sneakers.
Hypebeast will be releasing the GPS coordinates via Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Boston already did their hunt, but there's still five more locations to go. Peep the dates below, and good luck.
