Saucony hasn’t been shy when it comes to collaborations recently. Between UBIQ's bright tropical inspired pair, to Penfield’s classic wearables, they’re running the whole gamut. It only stands to reason that they’d pair with one of the most prolific collaborators in the industry.
We’ve only got two photos from the upcoming Bait x Saucony collaboration, and although they don’t tell the whole story, we certainly get a complete look. We do know that this is the next step in their CruelWorld Initiative and called “Midnight Mission,” inspired by LA's Skid Row.
The upper is almost entirely jersey in two tones of grey. Dark grey dominated the toe and wraps around the heel, while light grey sits on the quarter and tongue. Details hit throughout in red, including a burgundy stripe around the heel on the midsole.
We can see a nice little encouraging message on the tongue tab that reads, “This BAIT Saucony Shadow Original shoe encourages you to relax and keep yourself stress free from all the unnecessary negativities.” It’s even punctuated by a smiley face.
The pairs are already all spoken for, at least for reservations, so stay tuned to see if they'll open up for larger release. Either way, just relax...
