Super O.G. Los Angeles Laker fans are going to love this upcoming New Balance drop.
After re-releasing James Worthy's New Balance P740 in the original "White/Black" colorway, Packer Shoes will be launching Big Game James' "LA" P740 that never released to the public. Even though the "Player Exclusive" label wasn't associated with sneakers back in the day, that's technically what the "LA" iteration was.
The high-top retros feature a mostly white leather base with rich purple accents throughout the upper. Look for these unreleased PEs to drop on Saturday, August 16, in-store and online from Packer Shoes. The web store drop will be at 12 p.m. noon EST. Retail is $120.
