The world of luxury footwear is looking extra plush for Greats Brand.
The first online-only mens footwear brand announced a collaboration with menswear brand Orley. A finalist for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, Orley is no stranger to luxe, focusing on made-in-Italy knitwear. The Orley x Greats collaboration brings materials from Orley's spring 2015 collection to Greats' Italian-made Royale sneaker—think lush suede, twill, and canvas, plus stitched hidden grommets and white calf lining.
The collab will make its way to New York Fashion Week during Orley's spring 2015 presentation and will be available at select retailers, and online through Greats.com and Orley.us come next spring.
Launched just over a year ago, Greats Brand continues to grow. The team recently brought on Salehe Bembury—who worked with brands like Cole Haan, United Nude, Damon Dash, and Only NY—as its new Director of Footwear Design.
