Last month, we got a good look at what what would've been the Nike LeBron XI "Championship" pack if LeBron and the Miami Heat had pulled off their bid for a three-peat. Obviously, the Spurs won in convincing fashion and King James returned home to join the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Despite the fact that the season didn't end with James hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy, it looks like the so-called "Champ" pack might be seeing a release after all. According to Foot Locker Europe's Release Calendar, the sneakers are scheduled to release individually on August 9.
A release has yet to be confirmed by Nike and even though it's on Foot Locker's release calendar, nothing is written in stone. We all remember what happened when the "Red October" Yeezy IIs appeared on the U.S. Foot Locker's calendar. For all the LeBron fans and sneakerheads out there, let's just hope this release date holds true.
