Nike isn't quite finished with Kobe Bryant's ninth signature sneaker just yet. With the ultra high Kobe 9 Elite seemingly done, there are still colorways of the EM and Elite Low set to drop in the coming weeks. It also appears like fans of the Black Mamba can expect an all-new silhouette from the Kobe 9 lineup as a photo of a never-before-seen Mid just leaked on the 'net.
The sneakers sport a mid-cut design equipped with a scaly black leather upper and a gum buttom. Unlike previous iterations, the Mid isn't outfitted in performance-based tech like Flyknit or Engineered Mesh—an appropriate omission considering the "EXT" label given to this new Kobe 9.
An exact release date is not yet known, but the sneaker is already listed on Nike Australia's Product Launch Calendar under Nike Sportswear.
