It's been well documented this year that LeBron was not a true fan of his latest signature shoe from Nike, especially after a few early season ankle sprains. For the most part and even now during the Finals, LeBron has opted to wear the Zoom Soldier 7 over his LeBron 11, and now Nike is giving us a first look at next year's model, the Zoom LeBron Soldier 8.

Nike made some changes for the Soldier 8 including a strap zipper around the ankle to provide extra support, where the LeBron 11 seemed to lack. Nike also traded in the traditional herringbone outsole pattern for a hexagon and diamond pattern which may offer better traction, but only time will tell. This patriotic colorway of the Soldier 8 comes in the obvious red, white and blue throughout including along the exposed Flywire. This is the latest "USA" themed colorway coming off the heels of the Kobe 9 EM Low, and the LeBron 11 "Independence Day", so clearly Nike wants you to celebrate the holiday in style.

The Zoom LeBron Soldier 8 "USA" has no official release date as of yet, but keep it locked for future info.
