Nike's been busy debuting patriotic themed colorways of their most popular basketball shoes including the LeBron 11 in both the high, and low-cut versions. Today, we get a detailed look at another Fourth of July inspired sneaker with the Nike Kobe 9 EM "Independence Day".
The Kobe 9 EM “Independence Day” comes complete in the Red/White/Blue colorway that'll get you in the patriotic mood just in time for the holiday. Featuring an engineered mesh upper, the Kobe 9 EM utilizes a special print for the Forth of July that'll pop at any cookout or festive barbeques. To make these stand out further, Nike added in a reflective 3M logo on the tongue, and set the shoe atop a translucent outsole. Like previous Kobe 9 EM's including the recently released "Brazil" colorway, these are expected to retail right around $160, so it shouldn't crush your fireworks budget too much.
The Kobe 9 EM "Independence Day" will be available at select retailers and online at the Nike Store beginning June 26.
