Lightning never strikes twice in the same place, and for the Miami Heat, it never strikes two games in a row. The defending champs have yet to drop two straight games during this postseason, and last night, they bounced back from Sunday's loss to Indiana with a 87-83 Game 2 win on the road. The highly physical, lowscoring affair was tightly contested during the closing minutes, but Miami powered through with LeBron and D Wade combining for 22 points in the 4th. Meanwhile, during the second period, the Pacers were held to just 16 points. D Wade led the way in scoring with 23 on the night, while James had 22 and they avoided a monstrous night from Indiana's Lance Stephenson. "Today it was just about how bad we wanted it. It wasn't about Xs and Os. It wasn't a perfect game by no stretch of the imagination. We kept digging down deep, and we got back to Miami Heat basketball," Wade said afterwards. On Saturday night, the series will head to Miami for Game 3.

See the night's best kicks plus yesterday's best performers on the MLB diamond after the break.
