In the past year, Nike has taken some iconic retro running shoes and made them bigger, bolder and better suited for use during the winter season, thus creating a completely new category of hybrid footwear known as SneakerBoots. After rolling a beefed up version of the 1978 LDV racing flat back in September 2014, this year Nike introduces new heritage-inspired classic boot colorways to the Lunar LDV SneakerBoot.

Designed for maximum comfort on both the streets and trail, the Lunar LDV SneakerBoot features a laser cut premium leather upper, paired with a Lunarlon midsole for lightweight cushioning. The shoe’s elevated ankle collar and Flywire technology provide the support required to tackle rugged terrain, while the heel tab allows for easy access in and out of the boot.

The latest Lunar LDV SneakerBoot silhouettes will be available starting tomorrow, January 9.
