Today is much about Kobe Bryant and his new signature sneaker with Nike, the Kobe 9. The shoe is being officially unveiled out in Los Angeles, but as that is taking place, more Kobe-related sneaks have surfaced.
The Swoosh looks to pay homage to a number of Kobe's more iconic moments atop the hardwood with a coinciding footwear pack. Today we receive our first detailed peek at one of the selections, highlighting the "Prelude" Zoom Kobe 1.
The Black Mamba donned the classic hoops model while notching a wildly-impressive 81 points against the Raptors back in 2006. For that, Nike has stitched 81 point detailing on the insole of the sneaker.
This also comes as the brand is gearing up to provide us with retro releases from Bryant's signature line, as the on-hand Prelude pair is expected to arrive in early 2014.
