Under Armour has made its mark on America with its unique and often attention-grabbing commercials, its signing of some of the biggest stars in sports like Tom Brady and Lindsey Vonn, and genuinely taking stabs are creating product that not only looks dynamic, but performs dynamically. America knows who protect the house, but does China know? Soon China will know for themselves.

Today, Kevin Plank, the famed founder of Under Armour, and Michael Phelps, the historic gold medal-winning American swimmer-turned-Under Armour athlete, are hosting the grand opening of the Under Armour’s grand retail experience in Shanghai.

The intent of the UA Shanghai event is to introduce Chinese athletes to the brand in an immersive fashion that shows a bit of a behind-the-scenes at what brand representatives and brand athletes have been able to give and gain from their commitment to training in Under Armour, as the video above shows.

The brand store in Shanghai today is immaculately designed and will offer a limited retail environment and will include some of the top Under Armour footwear, like the UA SpeedForm RC – pretty cool, right?
