A few months back, Sneaker Report previewed some of the improvements that Nike had added to the latest LunaRacer model. Today brings a closer look at the LunaRacer 3, which takes full advantage of Nike's latest tech breakthroughs.
The upper is constructed mainly with Engineered Mesh, which has been popping up on everything from Kobe's latest sig to re-worked running classics. Touted by Nike as being incredibly lightweight, breathable, and flexible, Engineered Mesh seems like the perfect fit for a running shoe. Exposed Flywire strands are also present on the upper, combining with the lace system for a snug fit. Of course, we can't forget about the Lunar midsole, which has proven to be one of Nike's most popular innovations of the last few years.
The LunaRacer+ 3 debuts next month with a retail of $110. Stick with Sneaker Report for more updates on this futuristic runner.
