This isn't the first rodeo for the Air Jordan Retro I "Royal." The shoe originally received the retro treatment in 2001, and was mostly true to the OG. Since then however, JB has taken the liberty of "updating" the classic by adding all types of Jumpman branding. MJ's silhouette could be found on the heel of the shoe, the tongue tag, and even a hangtag. All of this can be forgiven with recent photos of the I. The leather looks supple, and there's no clutter. Just the things that we want—high-quality materials and original specs. Is that too much to ask? [via Modern Notoriety]
