Society is finally, not to mention mercifully, nearing Mutant Mayhem time.

On Monday, as promised amid this weekend’s 2023 Kids’ Choice Awards festivities, fans were gifted with the new teaser trailer for the long-awaited Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. During Saturday’s broadcast, Seth Rogen—who’s credited as a producer on the new Turtles film alongside Evan Goldberg and James Weaver—introduced several members of the film’s stacked voice cast. He also shared some timely advice with regards to the then-imminent trailer, including crucial details on honoring the urgency of the moment.

“If you’re in school, take your phones out and watch it,” Rogen joked during the slime-drenched ceremony. “And if they give you an attitude, tell them Seth Rogen says it’s okay.”

Mutant Mayhem features the voices of Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), Micah Abbey (Donatello), Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo), and Brady Noon (Raphael). Joining the main ensemble are Ayo Edebiri (April O’Neil), Jackie Chan (Splinter), Ice Cube (Superfly), Post Malone (Ray Fillet), Hannibal Buress (Genghis Frog), Rose Byrne (Leatherhead), Rogen himself (Bebop), and more.

The film, which marks the first feature-length animated entry in the larger Turtles franchise since 2007’s TMNT, isn’t the only animation project on Rogen’s 2023 agenda. In April, he’ll be heard in the role of Donkey Kong in the Chris Pratt-led Super Mario Bros. Movie.
