FX’s widely popular series Snowfall is less than a month away from returning, and the official trailer for Season 5 has arrived to illustrate how Franklin’s world continues to expand and get more chaotic by the minute.
Season 5 of Snowfall picks up where Season 4 left off, with Franklin, played by Damson Idris, basking in his newfound riches while simultaneously trying to keep control of his constantly growing cocaine empire. He also has to try and balance his family life in the process as things become increasingly more hectic with the LAPD cracking down on his operation.
Snowfall is among our most anticipated shows to watch this year and follows the character Franklin Saint who sits as a burgeoning kingpin during the height of the crack epidemic. The series gained heavy traction after it first premiered back in 2017 in large part thanks to Idris’ impressive acting and the compelling story it has told through four seasons. The series was created by the late John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron.
Snowfall Season 5 is set to premiere on Feb. 23. Watch the first trailer up top.
