Ahead of its release in theaters and on HBO Max next month, Warner Bros. has shared the second trailer for Sopranos prequel movie The Many Saints of Newark.

The highly anticipated film, which sees James Gandolfini’s son, Michael Gandolfini, portray a young Tony Soprano, is set to arrive on October 1. Unlike the first trailer, however, the new look at the film focuses on Alessandro Nivola’s Dickie Moltisanti, the father of Sopranos character Christopher Moltisanti. There’s also a brief look at Jon Bernthal’s performance as Giovanni “Johnny Boy” Soprano, who was played by the late Joseph Siravo in the original series.

“You know, I didn’t want to put pressure on myself to walk out of this feeling like I’d grown in terms of my feelings towards my dad," Michael Gandolfini recently told Empire of his role in the film. "I just wanted to be the best actor I could be, portraying Tony in the way David [Chase] wanted, scene by scene. I didn’t think about my grief because… well, I would have shit the bed." He also teased that this younger version of Tony is more “curious and sensitive” than the older, more aggressive Tony fans have come to know.

The creator of the show, David Chase, also showed up for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week to talk about what it was like returning to these characters after so long. “The movie is really about a guy named Dickie Moltisanti, some of you have heard about him… He was little Tony’s mentor, when he was a teenager,” he teased.
