Ten months after Terry Crews filed a lawsuit against William Morris Endeavor agent Adam Venit for allegedly groping him, the two have come to a settlement in the case.
"Terry Crews, Adam Venit and WME have settled the lawsuit Mr. Crews filed last year," read WME's statement ot Variety. "It will be dismissed."
After being put on leave for 30 days last November and stepping down from his position as the head of the motion picture department, Venit will reportedly be leaving WME for good.
Crews went to Twitter to comment on the news. "ACCOUNTABILITY," read his tweet in response to Venit's retirement.
He also shared a post from Perez Hilton. "Justice for Terry Crews!! Better late than not at all!!" read Hilton's tweet. Crews retweeted with a fist, a heart and a flame emoji.
It wasn't the only good news for Crew though. He also shared news about Brooklyn Nine-Nine getting an expanded 18-episode order. "IT GETS BETTER AND BETTER!" read his tweet reaction.
Since telling his story, Crews has been one of the most prominent voices in the #MeToo Movement, which allows men and women to come forward about their instances of sexual assault. Earlier this year, he spoke about rape culture in Hollywood.
"People don’t understand that Hollywood is a very violent place,” he said in an interview. "The best way to put it is that it’s like a plantation. You use extreme violence. You see a lot of people who never work again. For even speaking up the whole thing is that they cut your head off so that the next person doesn’t speak."
